His partner, Brian Beckett doesn't look any happier. He is on Lucas' left, staring a hole into the side of his head. Lucas doesn't appear to be too happy about his job at the moment."Hello ladies and gentlemen. I'm here with...Beckett grabs hold of the microphone and rips it out of his hand. Lucas looks at him with a terrified expression on his face, looking at Brian. LJ grabs his collar, which causes his head to spin in that direction. The Enforcer hurls him out of frame.
Beckett stares in his direction. His fiery eyes turn toward the camera followed by his head. He slowly raises up the microphone."Last week, I suffered a great indignity. I can accept the Cut to the Chase that led to your victory over me last week Xander Chase. That was in the context of a match. I'm not happy about it, but I can understand.
"It's the second one, during a match you had no business being near. You might've screwed up my back when you took me off the apron.
"But beyond all that, over the past two weeks, we have been victimized by you Xander Chase and your buddy Gigante Fujima. Well how about this week, you ladies make it official and team up.
Fujima and Chase against Synergy. We've been dancing around this match for two weeks. Let's fight."Beckett tosses the microphone down and walks off. Larry stares into the camera for a couple seconds and then follows him off.

"Binge" by Papa Roach blasts through the speakers. Scott Starnes and Rob Wallace make their way out to the ring. They have somewhat confused looks on their faces. Rob takes a microphone from ringside and the pair enter the ring."Why didja call us out?"
"Rob, you and Scott have been a pain in my ass lately. You two seem to think that I go out of my way to make your lives miserable."
"Is'n tha whatch you do?"
"No, it isn't Rob. But I do want extend the olive branch. In 10 days, at VCW Double Down, we will crown new VCW Tag Team Champions. Rob Wallace and Scott Starnes will be in that match.The Crowd boo at Wallace and Starnes. "I'm even giving you guys a soft match tonight. You get to face the Love Gods of War."
"That sounds good to me. Who are we facing at Double Down?"
"Well, it's going to be a 4-way Eliminator!"The crowd pops, Wallace and Starnes don't look happy."Another slot will be taken up by half of the former tag-team champions, Rox-O-Matic. He said he has a partner to fill in for X, so Rox will be joined by a mystery partner of his choice.
"The other two slots are still up in the air, so to all the other tag teams in VCW, impress this week and next. Enjoy the show everybody!""Fully Alive" by Flyleaf blasts through the speakers and the crowd cheers at the match to determine new tag champs. |

Scotty spots Shaunna Vulpen pouring herself a cup of coffee. Long and Blackjack head over her and bo her in. Scotty reaches downand grabs her wrist, pulling up her hand to show off her diamond engagement ring."Where did Ryan buy that thing, a pawn shop?"Stacked Deck laugh and Shaunna pulls her hand away."You two don't have anything better to do? Why don't you go enjoy the time you have before Ryan and Water beat you tonight."
"Beat us tonight? That isn't likely to happen sweetcheeks. The big guy and I are gonna mop up the ring rust tonight. And as for right now, maybe I should show you that you married the wrong man."Scotty slides in closer to Shaunna and starts to lean in toward a kiss. Shaunna moves her head off to the side."I don't think Ryan would like that very much. And Ryan and Water have been standing behind you guys since you walked over."Scotty and Blackjack turn around right into Ryan Bowdridge and Water...

"So, you're lookin' at the ring then, Scotty? I can proudly say that that ring is worth more than your life or Blackjack's. We're gonna prove we're back and we're here to stay by demolishing you. And by the way, I think Shaunna has something to say to you."
Scotty turns around to be kneed in the groin by Shaunna and he falls to the ground holding his gems. Blackjack pulls his arm back for a bunch but it is caught by Water who spins him around and gives him a Blue Stunner. Scotty gets up and tries to clothesline Water who ducks and Scotty runs right into Ryan who grabs him and gives him a Bowdridge Bomb through the catering table.
Water squats down and gives Blackjack a slap on the cheek.
"There's only one big man on campus here, and it's me."
Water gets up and walks away with Ryan and Shaunna.

The scene starts as the camera follows Daniel Diamondeye, who enters Samantha Swift's office. He wastes no time and speaks as he enters.
"Sam, my love. Did you forget or was it me who misunderstood? You told me to recharge and then focus on Slaughterhouse. Well I have recharged and now I'm ready to face him. Heck, I was ready to face him last week! So book that match already!"
"Well Daniel. I..."
"Then at least give me something else to do tonight!"

The camera's view changes to the back of the arena, where the stage is empty and the fans move restlessly in their seats, awaiting action...
-But before anything happens, an over-excited fan shouts out "IT'S DAZZA!" and the arena erupts in cheers as the lights turn gold and "Born To Rule" blasts clearly from the speakers. The Heavyweight Champion enters through the curtain and stands proudly with the belt around his waist and a microphone in hand. He makes his way down to the ring, as fans try desperately to touch him, but are unsuccessful.
'The King' stretches in the middle of the ring and looks around at the audience.
Did you all enjoy the Las Vegas Cup?
The fans scream wildly and Dazza shakes his head, as if almost deafened.
Defeating Chase made the whole night worthwhile -but that's not why I'm here...
He looks down at his belt and pats it fondly.
I came out here tonight to clarify a question that's been nagging at me since the end of the Las Vegas Cup tournament...
The fans start cheering for Chris Shawcross, which makes Dazza smirk.
I forgot... you're all psychic... I'm out here to get an answer from Chris, as I'd like to be fully aware if he's coming after me for my VCW Championship... So Chris, I know you're out there, give me an answer...
'The King' waits patiently, as the fans continue cheering.

The show comes back from a commercial and in view is one of the amateur interviewers, who seems to be quite keen on getting a word out of the former Women's Champion, Jade Emira...
Before he finishes explaining what he wants to speak to her about, 'The Vermilion Lady' passes him and she turns around when he calls out to her.
Ms. Emira, are you still after the Women's Championship, or do you have other things in mind?
Jade gives a warm laugh and hides her smile.
Yes I'm still after the title.. But, I need to teach somebody -or rather, two somebodies... a lesson. Jenn Wolf and Veronica Truman... both incredible athletes here in the VCW, but lately they've been slacking off and Truman's fallen from grace... What I intend to do, is rejuvenate their sparks by defeating them here tonight, and to show them it's ME who's the top competitor in the women's division--Oh look, here comes Jenn now...
Wolf approaches Jade with a smile and the interviewer points behind Jade... and there coming the other way is Truman!
Jade chuckles to herself and turns around to acknowledge Truman, and all three ladies are standing together, with the young man and his camera crew behind them.
There's no way you're gonna get your hands on Elisha with Mass Destruction protecting her, Goldilocks... But I can. Those ugly brutes are nothing to me; I was Women's Champion for a looong time!
Truman gets in Jade's face and they share a staredown, before Jenn breaks the tension.
If anyone's going to do it, it's me... I have a chance to prove myself tonight, and I will pin one of you, one.. two.. three.
Jade and Veronica turn towards Jenn and raise their eyebrows at the same time.
Elisha's mine. You two are washed up and in need of protection from men just like Elisha.. I am the most fit, I am the most powerful... I will take my title back before long... But you two better bring it tonight; I don't want the audience to witness a one-sided fight.
Emira walks away as they both stare at her with burning eyes, and the interviewer looks dumbfounded, as the scene fades.

The camera pans over Rox-O-Matic who is talking to his cell phone and pacing around the locker room.
"Yes....yes..... so you can catch a plane to Vegas that night?..........Awesome, Awesome, so yeah, bring your boots, shorts and everything you need to stay in Vegas 'till bro recovers, alright?....Okay, thanks again dude.
Rox shuts off and exits out of his locker room, with a smile on his face.

Backstage Lucas Wright, VCW's intrepid backstage reporter, is standing in front of the VCW chip logo in the back. On either side of him are Synergy. "The Enforcer" Larry Jordan in to his right looking directly down at Lucas' face. He cuts a mean profile and doesn't look happy.

The camera cuts backstage, where we see Lucas Wright walking at a brisk pace down the corridor, until stopping at a locker room door with a plaque reading "XANDER CHASE" fixed to it, and knocking thrice. Initially, Lucas gets no answer, so begins to knock again, and after two knocks the door swings open and Xander Chase himself emerges from the locker room. "Mister Chase!" Lucas pipes up quickly, "I don't know if you just saw it, but Synergy are challenging you and Gigante Fujima to a tag match tonight and I-""Who are you?" Chase asks abruptly after snatching the microphone from Lucas's hand. He holds it out for Lucas to answer, but before Lucas can say anything, Chase removes the microphone. "Huh? What? I can't here you, speak up! No? Oh, okay then." Chase proceeds to pie-face Lucas out of camera shot before addressing the situation at hand. "Beckett, Jordan, you wanna whine about how me and that big bastard Fujima have whooped both of you over the past couple of weeks, and then challenge us to a match? Haha, boys, what can I say? Tonight me and the big bastard Fujima are gonna give you two gang bangers a lesson in career suicide."With that, Chase looks over at Lucas Wright, drops the microphone on him and walks away as the scene fades out. |

"Well Daniel, I was just about to announcea big match for tonight. Slaughterhouse will be facing off against EFF Dash. I'd like you to be at ringside and make sure Dash isn't seriously injured out there.
"If he can make it through tonight uninjured, win or lose, I'll book you for a match against Slaughterhouse at Double Down on the 15th."

Some time after Samantha Swift's big announcement concerning Double Down...
The camera shifts to an indeterminable place backstage. The lights are turned off and the only illumination is provided by several lit candles just in front of the camera. Strangely, the only person we can see is Julian Doom. The VCW Hardcore Champion is nowhere to be found Doom beings to speak...
"Last week, what was shaping up to be a perfectly good massacre was ruined when that jumped up peon, Daniel Diamondeye, interfered. However, when I pulled him out of the ring, a lot of people got entirely the wrong impression. Everyone seemed to think I was saving him, but in reality the person I was saving was you Diamondeye. Slaughterhouse was so incensed by your attack that I had to physically restrain him from wreaking havoc backstage, no easy task I'll assure you, and I had left him in the ring with you, you would not have survived his subsequent fury"
"But tomorrow is another day, and now, my monster is scheduled to face the eternal loser, Eff Dash, in the ring tonight. And Samantha has appointed you, Mr Diamondeye, to make sure Dash leaves tonight uninjured. She has done this by dangling the ever so tempting carrot of a match against Slaughterhouse at Double Down should you be successful in this task. Which places me at a bit of a quandary. While I would love to see Slaughterhouse dismantle Dash tonight piece by piece, you are getting on my nerves and so it might well be worth sacrificing this beatdown in order to witness another, even more satisfying beatdown at the next PPV. Decisions decisions..."
"Ultimately however, whichever path we choose to take, one thing is certain: Slaughterhouse will destroy any and all who stand in his way. Even a former Heavyweight Champion like yourself. Therefore, I think we should end this by showing you just a taste of what you will get should you be granted your wish at Double Down..."
Right after Doom has finished talking, a great yell can suddenly be heard, as the VCW Hardcore Champion, Slaughterhouse, wearing his usual gear, flies into view. He delivers an almighty kick to the camera, completely demolishing it. The last thing everyone hears as the feed cuts out is Doom's maniacal laughter...

Scott Starnes & Rob Wallace ~VS~ Love Gods of War
Starnes & Wallace wanted to make a statement following the announcement that they would be involved in the VCW Tag Team Championship match at Double Down. They did just that by showing off their technical skill against their larger opponents. Fabio and Adonis were unable to bring their power to the front against the two former Heavyweight Champions. The end came with The Highland Fling on Fabio for the pinfall.3:50 - Scott Starnes & Rob Wallace defeated Love Gods of War
"Golden Boy" Steve Golden ~VS~ "Mist Dragon" Terry Quest
Terry took an unorthodox approach to the match. He started off by not making a normal entrance, but came through the crowd and jumped the Golden Boy from behind. Steve looked to be in trouble at a number of times throughout the match as Terry pressed his early advantage. Golden is a former CPW Juniorweight Champion though, and resisted the offensive. He managed to string together a series of moves, punctuated by the Spinning Golden Bomb for the win.6:14 - Steve Golden defeated Terry Quest
Ryan Bowdridge & Water ~VS~ Stacked Deck
Water started off beating Scotty Long mercilessly. He made a tactical error by drifting too close to Blackjack in the corner. The big man clubbed him in the back of the head and tagged in. Blackjack and Scotty made frequent tags, contually using double team offense. Scotty was feeling pretty good about himself and made a lewd gesture toward Shaunna Vulpen on the outside. The referee had to restrain her from entering the ring and killing him. While he was pre-occupied, Ryan ran into the ring and smashed Scotty with a chair. Blackjack started through the ropes but Ryan tackled him and sent them both tumbling to the floor. Water rolled onto the cover, but Long managed to kick out at two. With both men back on their feet, Water nailed the Blue Stunner and scored the victory.8:02 - Ryan Bowdridge & Water defeated Stacked Deck
"Kid From Portugal" Alex Pires ~VS~ Brian Dego
Dego and Pires went back and forth in a match that had the crowd on it's feet. Both men hit their trademark moves and had the crowd counting right along and groaning in shock when they'd kick out. Brian locked in the Degolock but Alex swung him up and drove him down with a modified version of the AP Driver to get the win.5:21 - Alex Pires defeated Brian Dego
Totally Fabulous ~VS~ The Tribe of Rage
Dan and 'Lyptus took their revenge for both the Tribe's actions over the past month and their comments earlier tonight. Fenris and Fury didn't stand a chance against T-Fab's anger. Eucalyptus his Equality for the victory.2:57 - Totally Fabulous defeated Tribe of Rage
Xander Chase & Gigante Fujima ~VS~ Synergy
From the outset of the match it was obvious that Xander and Fujima could not or would not work together. Xander started the match and refused to tag in Fujima, even when LJ and Beckett got the upper hand. Chase was so determined to prove he was better than Fujima that he nearly lost to the LJ Bomb. Fujima did make the save and then dragged Chase to their corner before stepping through the ropes and tagging himself in. Fujima tore into Synergy with strong power moves and locked LJ in You Weren't Listening. Xander wouldn't let him get the glory and kicked him in the gut. Beckett dropped Fujima with the Claymore Clash, setting up LJ to hit another LJ Bomb, this time on Fujima to get the win.7:02 - Synergy defeated Xander Chase & Gigante Fujima

Derek Razor ~VS~ Giant Rousimoff ~VS~ Paranoid ~VS~ The Cureman
Derek Razor and Paranoid paired off against each other while The Cureman and Rousi fought each other. Before long, Damion and Jericho hit the ring to complete Tolliver's order to cost Cureman the match. Unfortunately for them, Cureman and Rousi banded together to fight them off. While that was happening, Kevin Cage slipped in and nailed Paranoid with Eat the Floor, allowing Razor to cover him and eliminate him from the match. Derek and Cureman traded punches until Rousi clotheslined Derek. Tolliver himself came to ringside and hit The Eraser on Cureman. Rousi pinned him and he was eliminated. Derek immediately hit the Art of the Blade on the Giant securing the victory and title shot at Double Down.8:36 - Derek Razor defeated Giant Rousimoff, Cureman & Paranoid in a 4-Way Eliminator.
EFF Dash ~VS~ Slaughterhouse
Dash charged Slaughterhouse and started throwing punches into his face. Slaughterhouse fought back with stiff shots of his own but it was short lived. Daniel Diamondeye, at ringside slid into the ring. He nailed Slaughterhouse with the Moneymaker, causing a disqualification. Daniel laid an epic beating on Slaughterhouse until security finally pulled him off.0:59 - Slaughterhouse defeated EFF Dash by disqualification.

Sudden Death 3-Way
Jade Emira ~VS~ Jenn Wolf ~VS~ Veronica Truman
Jade and Jenn teamed up on Veronica until the point that Jenn went for a cover. Jade broke it up and took the fight to Jenn. The match then became a true 3-way with all the ladies fighting it out for the chance to face Elisha Knight at Double Down for the Women's Title. Jenn set Veronica on the top rope and hit the Cheap Thrill. Just as she stood up though, Jade hit her with the Emira Hair-Dyer and scored the victory. Immediately after the match Elisha slippe din behidn her and hit the Starstricken Strike. Knight stood over the women holding up the VCW Women's Championship belt as the show went off the air.12:45 - Jade Emira defeated Jenn Wolf & Veronica Truman in a Sudden Death 3-Way. |
