i hope that was you being sarcastic.
DC has a torrid history of having their characters in TERRIBLE games. In fact, other than early NES/SNES Batman games, everything else with the DC logo BLOWS...HARD.
MK is a sad excuse for a fighting game. MKII was good, MKIII was great, and then it just fell off from there. The last few games were okay, but still broken.
This game will NOT have fatalities. MK w/o fatalities is just a crappy fighter, and you know its true.
If this game isnt outright canceled in the next few months, it will be another miserable failure for both Midway and DC.

They're trying to have the same success that "Marvel vs Capcom" had. I am very disappointed that they'd choose this route; they knew Armageddon was crap and personally I don't think "a whole new approach" was needed. Just go back to MK2 or whatever, just like Street Fighter 4 is.. Go back to the era that made history and have the old characters but some new ones too. Street Fighter has heaps of characters already too, but they're adding new ones (and in my opinion suck balls). For me, the best MK was Deadly Alliance. Also, it can't be "a whole new series" if Sub Zero is in it.

MK 3 was when it started going down hill. Animalities anyone?
MK1 was the greatest game when it came out. MK2 was the new greatest game when it came out. MK3 had it's brief run when it came out, then everyone realized how bad having 30 characters in a game was.
In my opinion the MK games were great for the arcade. There'd almost always be a wait to play, and everyone once in a while you'd have to deal with some guy who had like 400 wins in a row or something.
But yeah, no fatalities ruins MK.
Marvel vs Capcom was fun because it was the first fighting game (that I know of) that had huge over the top, excessively large energy blasts. It also used that cool style of changing scenes with jumping way up or slamming through walls and floors.

This could just be a spin-off game, rather than the start of the "new series".
They said they were dumping EVERYTHING for the new start, including all characters.
But why would they merge the MK universe with superheroes? that's why there's no blood or fatalities, to go with the Superhero side..
The concept is an epic fail, but we'll see how generic it actually is before it's released.

Yea, Sylo, I was being sarcastic. It's hard to do sarcasm in forums...oh well. MK w/o fatalities (good ones for that matter so that takes MK:A out) equals....

Total rubbish!
I heard they were reviving the series but this is not the way to go
anyway it's unfair because everybody knows that Batman will own every MK character.

They said that magic would play a part in making Superman vulnerable so the likes of Scorpion and Sub-Zero could actually hurt him. Makes comic sense, but still...if he's vulnerable, whats the point of having Superman in the game? He'd just be...Regularman...

Well, everyone else will be vulnerable. What's the point in a game at all? They had to do something, and it's a great idea.

He'd still have laser vision, strength, flight etc. He'd just be not cheap to play as.
