So, who do you guys think will win at WrestleMania 25? My picks (winners in Bold): WWE Championship Match Triple H (c) vs. Randy Orton |
Surely Triple H won't bury Orton after this push... surely? World Heavyweight Championship Match Edge (c) vs. Big Show vs. John Cena |
Face win at Mania for all the kiddies and screaming girls and stuff. Plus, I don't see Vickie picking either Edge or Big Show just like that. Money in the Bank Ladder Match CM Punk vs. Mark Henry vs. Kane vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian vs. Kofi Kingston vs. MVP vs. Finlay |
Close one, this, but I think Christian has the most chance of winning. Honourable mentions are MVP and CM Punk. WWE Tag Team Champions vs. World Tag Team Champions (Unified Tag Team Championship Match) Carlito & Primo Colon vs. The Miz & John Morrison |
Makes sense that the Mizorrison win. I think it'd be wasted on the Colons. Intercontinental Championship JBL (c) vs. Rey Mysterio |
JBL's only just won it- I don't think he'll drop it yet. Extreme Rules Match Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy |
Duh. Spotfest with poor Jeff Hardy beating his mean big brother. Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker |
Creative need shooting if they let HBK break 'Taker's streak. 3-on-1 Handicap Match Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper w/Ric Flair vs. Chris Jericho |
Meh. I doubt they'll let Jericho job three legends out... ... as funny as that would be. Who cares? But, since I have a bet on with Dazza, then I'm going for Maryse.

My picks (winners in bold as well)
WWE Championship Randy Orton vs (c) Triple H
It's Triple H... Randy cannot win, especially when H is the Face.
World Heavyweight Championship John Cena vs Big Show vs (c) Edge
Like H, it's Edge... Show has no chance, and Cena won it last year.
Money In The Bank Match CM Punk vs. Mark Henry vs. Kane vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Christianvs. Kofi Kingston vs. MVP vs. Finlay
I really have no idea, but I'm choosing Christian, because it's Christian, and he has returned.
Unified Tag Team Championship Match Carlito & Primo Colon vs. The Miz & John Morrison
I do not think this match will actually have a winner, because I do not believe they will unify them. Someone will interrupt.. But if I had to choose, it would be Miz & Morrison.
Intercontinental Championship Rey Mysterio vs (c) JBL
Like H and Edge, it's Mysterio.. JBL is a transitional champion, in my opinion.
Extreme Rules Match Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy
They didn't do a good job of making Matt evil.. Jeff wins.
Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker
I personally believe that someone (like Kozlov) will interfere and make Taker win by DQ. Either that or Taker wins, his streak will not die.
3-on-1 Handicap Match Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (with Ric Flair) vs Chris Jericho
Stupid filler match.
25-Diva Battle Royal
Don't care, but I choose Beth Phoenix, because she is the strongest.
Overall prediction of the PPV rating:: Average.

I watched it (and having stayed up till 4am til do so I feel like crap), and I quite enjoyed it. Plus, the No Mercy Zone Annual WrestleMania Chat was friggin' hilarious and really made it even more fun- created a sort of excitement, if you will. It lagged like crazy when the feed we were watching died towards the end of the HBK/Taker match due to all the frenzied typing It was scary when I thought Taker nearly killed himself from that botched rope dive, too. I personally thought it was good. Bumping the tag title unification match off the card in favour of a 25 Diva Snooze-Fest Royale and *KID bloody ROCK* ticked me off majorly at the beginning, and CM Punk winning MITB again was slightly lame, but I see the method behind the madness. Other than that, great PPV, much better than the previous two Manias IMO.

WWE World Tag Team Championship Lumberjack Match Carlito & Primo Colon (c) vs. The Miz & John Morrison (c)
I was disappointed that the match was bumped down to being a dark match. I hope I eventually get to see this match, but I doubt I'll spend money on the DVD for this one match after shelling out $50 for the ppv. I can say that this match was one I was looking forward to seeing though. I hadn't looked at the internet all day so I hadn't seen that the match was bumped and was kinda hoping for it to happen as the night progressed. Poor Carlito has now been on the Mania pre-show more than the actual show I think.
My Pick: Miz & Morrison Winner: Colons
0/1
Money in the Bank CM Punk vs. Mark Henry vs. Kane vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian vs. Kofi Kingston vs. MVP vs. Finlay
Match was great. Shelton had some great spots but the two with MVP were crazy. The first one where he ran up all the ladders and then botched the powerbomb was disappointing. The second was when he powerbombed him over the top onto Henry & Atlas. Kofi was sick as hell. The dropkick through the ladder was incredible.
My Pick: Kane Winner: CM Punk
0/2
25-Diva Battle Royal
Since Kid Rock did the intro he gets mentioned here. I have no problem with him being there and performing, but come on, they gave him like 12 minutes of Wrestlemania. And I loved how during Bawitabaw he tried to get the crowd to sing the chorus and it was like silent. As for the battle royal, it would have been cool if they had the 'returning divas' hang in there longer. 'Santina' winning was great for comedy. Can't wait to see Raw tonight with him and Beth.
My Pick: Beth Phoenix Winner: Santina
0/3
3-on-1 Handicap Elimination Match Ricky Steamboat, Jimmy Snuka & Roddy Piper vs. Chris Jericho
I figured Steamboat would win after Snuka and Piper were Eliminated. Steamboat still looked good. The whole thing with Mickey Rourke was only really saved by Jericho being able to act.
My Pick: The Hall of Famers Winner: Jericho
0/4
Extreme Rules Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy
Just made sense for Matt to win so they can either continue the feud or elevate Matt. The Twist of Fate with the chair was incredible.
My Pick: Matt Winner: Matt
1/5
Intercontinental Championship Rey Mysterio vs. JBL (c)
Super fast win for Rey and JBL quits. At least they let JBL cut one last promo as he came to the ring.
My Pick: JBL Winner: Mysterio
1/6
Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker
Match of the Year.
My Pick: Undertaker Winner: Undertaker
2/7
World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat John Cena vs. Big Show vs. Edge (c)
Big Show is more entertaining to watch than I remember. That whole spot with him tied up in the ropes was great. Superman wins though. It's always amazing to see Cena hit the FU on Show. It was more amazing when Edge was on Show's back.
My Pick: Cena Winner: Cena
3/8
WWE Championship Randy Orton vs. Triple H (c)
I thought this was a really good match, but the whole HHH losing the title on a DQ or countout thing was lame. I guess it does make sense that Trips would win and get revenge for all the crap Orton pulled, but I was expecting Orton to win and continue the feud. But WWE likes to end wrestlemania on a babyface win, so there we have it.
My Pick: Orton Winner: Triple H
3/9
wow, I sucked this year.
