At Wheel of Fate 2007 Perra defeated Jericho in a Mask vs Hair Match, winning the championship and forcing Black to shave his head.

Being granted a re-match at Wheel of Fate 2008, Luke took full advantage of a submission match, as chosen by the wheel. It took a little help from his then tag-team partner, Vertigo, but Devlin managed to lock in the Dragon Tamer to force Andy to tap out.

In a Sudden Death 3-Way at VCW Windfall 2008, the old saying was proved right, that the champion doesn't have to be pinned or submit to lose the title as Carl ended Dash's title run by pinning Andy Montoya.
