The Masked Observer
| After a lot of backstage wheeling and dealing, Samantha Smith has finally come to her senses and brought the Masked Observer over to VCW.com.
This is a momentous occasion and to highlight my first column, I will discuss what I feel should happen with the main eventers in the heavyweight division.
First, Sergei Sokol is again champion after a brutal battle with Ryan Bowdridge in Russia. This result didn't surprise me in the least because Sokol had the backing of an entire nation.
After Bowdridge gets his rematch, here's who I'd like to see get a shot at the belt:
- Gigante Fujima: The big man has been damn near unstoppable since his debut and I can't really see anyone derailing him at this point.
- Daniel Diamondeye: Apart from his disastrous series of matches against Jack Vengeance, Diamondeye has quite dramatically risen to the top of the heap with impressive victories against "The Pain Train" Bill Dallas, Scott Starnes and Rob Wallace. He also fought to a No Contest against current champion, Sergei Sokol. An impressive resume to be sure.
- Jack Vengeance: With Diamondeye on the list, you have to put the diminutive heavyweight on here as well. He's had a string of bad luck, but with his recent success against Diamondeye, perhaps Vengeance can finally put it all together and make a run for the top.
Stay tuned next week as I break down what I see as the top ranked juniorweights in VCW.
Until next time, I am... the Masked Observer!
