FILLERFILLERFILLERFILLERFILLERFILLERFILLERFILLER The Masked Observer | The weird turn pro! Well, well, well, when I'm right, I'm right! Born-Again Kid made his long anticipated debut in Vegas last night during a thundering, unbelievable juniorweight battle royale that I've watched about 15 times already. Not only that, but VCW welcomed a slew of other new competitors that will almost certainly make an instant impact in the coming weeks. Let's look at who the biggest suprises were and their possible plans in the near future.
|
1. Born-Again Kid: The new number one contender will have to survive what I believe will be a relentless onslaught from the other VCW juniorweights.
2. "The Misfit" Rob Frias: The former champ forfeited his rematch clause and now must bide his time.
3. "The Risen Dragon" Luke Devlin: It remains to be seen what championship Devlin will focus on, but if he sets his sights on juniorweight gold, it's only a matter of time before he gets the belt around his waist.
4. "The Swede" Carl Svensson: The always dangerous Swede is now a proven hardcore wrestler to go along with his superb technical background. Once the disappointment of losing his VCW Hardcore championship to Scott Starnes subsides, he will once again be on the hunt for the juniorweight championship.
5. El Hijo Del Perra: The veteran luchadore has his hands full with Ryan Bowdridge and only once that best-of-five series concludes will we know how serious EHDP is about reclaiming the championship that he put on the map. I'm also getting word that should the best-of-five series go to five matches, Perra will debut a new mask that pays hommage to his former teacher and greatest influence, Blue Demon.[/ul]Until next time, I am... the Masked Observer!
