Hey there, it's me, The Informer. Welcome to another edition of my little column.
- The VCW Women's Champion, Veronica Truman, has been earning herself quite a cult following among people who sympathize with her position. Samantha Swift has made it her mission to make sure that Truman loses her title, booking her in title match after title match. Assuming that she is again victorious this week, I'm hearing that Swift has plans in place to ensure that she doesn't make it past Boulevard of Broken Dreams as champion.
- There are rumblings coming from Southern California that a number of main eventers have lobbied for Dazza to continue his reign as champion at the re-launch of CPW. My sources within the organization have remained completely tight-lipped about the situation. Looks like we'll just have to wait until May 3.
- Ikki Nakata has developed a great reputation backstage in VCW despite his short tenure. One source expressed his surprise that Ikki, doesn't work as stiff as some others who rely on their kicking. Nakata has also shown a great desire to learn everything he can, from anyone he can.
- I'm hearing from some people 'in the know' that Samantha Swift may be looking for a new bodyguard / security force, following The Shock Squad's exit from VCW. I'd expect to hear more about this following VCW's ppv next weekend.
- "The Great" Toku has started making some enemies backstage with his continued complaining about how he is being used. His partner, Spectre, on the other hand, has not complained and even tried to come up with new and interesting ways for he and Toku to lose.
[/li][li]Many wrestlers have shown their disdain for CPW's re-launch, including Brooke Sage. She spoke with me briefly last week, and stated that it felt like they hit one out of the park with Group Therapy, and then CPW essentially cut off the pay off for the storyline. Despite her comments, Vertigo expressed that he is hopeful for the re-launch and feels that he can excel in the freshened up environment. He also stated that the progress made in Group Therapy has not been lost, and he and Devlin are working together non-stop preparing to become the first tag champs in the new CPW.
[/li][li]After losing Mini-Frias to BAK and his Sin-Dicate, The Misfit had only one thing to say when I asked him about the power struggle among factions in VCW, "Mega-Frias".[/b]

Well, that wraps up this edition. Keep those tv's tuned in to wrestling, and until next time,
I'm The Informer, and that's all you need to know.
