Hello again everyone and welcome to another edition of The Informer. I have loads of big news in store for you wrestling fans.
"First off, CPW is set for a re-launch in the next couple of weeks. Juan Hefe became the top story by purchasing 51% of the company. With all the titles vacated and the roaster in flux, it's a good thing that CPW has a rabid fan-base. I'll be tuning in to see what happens."
"After dropping the VCW Heavyweight Championship to Gigante Fujima, Sergei Sokol has not been seen around VCW. There are reports that he is upset over the loss, but I'm also hearing that he may have been injured during the match. We'll keep an eye on the situation."
"Chris Shawcross is reportedly working as a talent scout for Samantha Swift as he serves out his 'suspension' checking out talent in Japan, Mexico and Europe."
"Elisha Knight is not well-liked backstage. Despite the fact that she has not been competing in many matches, she has been the focal point of the Coven/Winter rivalry, and is getting a lot of tv time. The Slasher has also drawn some heat among the undercard for legitimately hurting Ashley Blaze during a segment a few weeks ago.
"However, I am also hearing that things have changed dramatically backstage with Winter and Elisha being united. Both are said to be in high spirits and are always looking for advice and pointers."
"There is some kind of logistical hangup with Luke Devlin's contract. According to a brief conversation with Ms Swift, she says that Juan Hefe, who now runs CPW, is doing whatever he can to ensure that Devlin is CPW Property when it re-launches."
"VCW's All In 2007 was off the charts. Eucalyptus lost the Women's Championship to Veronica Truman, before claiming the Tag Team Championship along with Dan Francisco in the first ever Sin City Melee. Major Mudd added the Las Vegas Championship to his undefeated streak, 187 employed his lackeys to win his 2nd Hardcore Title, and Fromunda retained his title via DQ when The Born-Again Kid put him through a flaming table!"
Well that doe it for this installment of The Informer. If you have questions for The Informer, send them to theinformer@bs.com. (PM me). As for this week, I'm The Informer, and that's all you need to know.
