Hello again everyone, it is I, The Informer. It's been an exciting few weeks in both VCW and the newly re-launched CPW. Here's some info that I've seen moving around.
- VCW's Boulevard of Broken Dreams 2007 is in the books. I have to say I was impressed with the show. Hellfire Havoc delivered more than I expected and there were a number of great match-ups. Speaking of The Slasher, he and Elisha are now members of The Coven, Tolliver's master plan aparently a complete success. The only monkey wrench could be The Tribe of Rage who Winter supposedly revealed secrets too. Fury, the only member of the team capable of speech, has now also lost that ability at the hands of Winter of Cage.
- Free agent Chris Jericho recently discussed his career in an interview, on name who came out of his interview that you might not expect was El Hijo Del Perra. Y2J said that he's been a fan of his for some time watching tapes from Mexico and so forth. He went on to say that Perra was a strong reason for his stint in MWA in 2005. Jericho stated that he has no interest in returning to the ring at this time.
- Player 1 is turning heads and making waves in CPW. He has a growing fanbase across the internet from lots of old-school gamers. His victories so far have also helped establish him among more hardcore wrestling fans.
- A source from inside Samantha Swift's camp has said that she's enjoying being away from the Arena for the shows, and is considering making a more permanent GM for Longshot.
- Jacob Black, of MWA and VCW fame, was reportedly turned down by both CPW and VCW for a webshow he calls "The Blackout" where hosts a Sportscenter style show on the world of professional wrestling. Although sources say that both companies stated that the idea had promise, they said he was just too creepy for it.
- Jenn Wolf, CPW's Women's Champion has running around like a chicken with her head cut off in CPW. Her desire to make the Women's title more meaningful has her constantly chatting with the other female wrestlers about ideas and also repeatedly pitching ideas to Robert Riley. Since no other titles have been rewarded yet in the new CPW, she has a misconception that she has to pick up the slack, leading to concerns that she'll burn herself out. Wolf's most recent MySpace Blog stated that she is "on top of the world, and just soaking it all in". So we'll just have to wait and see.
- There have been some rumors floating around that some kind of Hall of Fame is being established. I won't believe it until I see it.
- Scott Starnes and 187 will face off one last time at VCW Snake Eyes on June 2. They will settle their score in a Hardcore Cage Match for the VCW Hardcore Title. The VCW creative team has no desire to continue their program past the ppv, and this will be the final match between the two for some time.

That's it for this edition. Until next time, I'm The Informer, and that's all you need to know.
