Hey all you texture modding superstars out there!
I'm having trouble displaying my textures after I've modified them and perhaps someone on here can help before I get flamed out over at the NMZ.
1 - Created a texture_dump\WWF No Mercy folder in the Plugin folder
2 - Created a hires_texture\WWF No Mercy folder in the Plugin folder
3 - Booted up PJ64 using the Rice Video Plugin 6.1.1 beta 10 thingy
4 - Navigate to a singles match and before the entrances start, checked Dump Textures to files option on the Texture Filters tab (I I've left all of the settings on this tab to their default values, should they be modified?)
5- I see that the textures are dumped to the texture_dump\WWF No Mercy\ci_by_png folder. I grab some of those (the ring aprons) and modify them by adding JH RULZ to them.
6 - I copy these modified textures to the hires_texture\WWF No Mercy\JH_RULZ folder
7 - I restart the match (the Load hi-res texture option is checked, should this option be unchecked when dumping textures?)
8 - My heart breaks when I see that the ring apron has not been modified!
The odd thing is that I can load up textures that I've done before I got my new computer and I can load up Greg's arena textures.
I'm feeling lost, alone and addled.
HALP!!!!

Are they in .png format?

Yeah, and it doesn't seem to matter what dimension I make them.

Hmmm...
Unless your tried this already, try copying & pasting the name of the original texture image on texture_dump\WWF No Mercy\ci_by_png folder to your modified one on your JH RULZ folder.
Something like this happened to me before but I can't remember how I fixed it as it was a long time ago. lol

That's exactly what I tried, but the damn thing won't work. Perhaps I will give up for awhile before I eat my own head out of frustration.

If you want, maybe you could send me the textures and see what I can do to fix it.
