Lucas Wright is back stage at his usual interviewing area and standing beside him is a smiling Scott Starnes.
Scott you requested a match with the soon to be Hall of Famer in Johnny Knockout. I'm just curious as to why you wanted this match?
It's simple. Once again these old timers have to push and shove their way into the spotlight time and time again. It started with Vertigo, who is broken down and damn near crippled, but ends up still main-eventing our biggest PPV of the year. Then there is Daniel Dimondeye who decided to come out of retirement for one last run and now nobody even cares about him. Theeeeen we get an entire show dedicated to these losers. I would rather spend a day at an old folks home than sit and watch this Hall of Fame show. That, Lucas, is when I decided that I won't watch it, infact I'll compete in it. Johnny Knockout will be accepting his award one minute and lying broken in a hospital bed the next. Knockout, when I get in that ring with you it'll will be the end of you career so you better savor every moment out there because I promise you it will be your last.
I will then go onto Windfall and win the Champions Challenger match and then my destiny will be complete when I win the VCW Heavyweight Championship!
Starnes walks away laughing.
