September 9, 2009Road to Aftermath - Week 2 Hardcore Match "The Notorious" 187 ~VS~ North vegas Butcher

"Bruiserweight" Jericho Black ~VS~ Water
In something of a rematch from Windfall it was Water and Jericho one-on-one. This time Jericho didn't have Andy Montoya and Carl Svensson in the match also weakening Water. The big blue guy was dominant and put Jericho away with the Blue Stunner.3:35 - Water defeated Jericho Black El Hijo Del Perra ~VS~ "The Swede" Carl Svensson
El Hijo Del Perra and Carl Svensson went back and forth with the vastly different styles but still managed to keep the crowd roaring throughout the match. Svensson seemed to have the match sealed when he locked in the Zipper, but as he rocked back and forth trying to hyperextend EHDP's arm, the masked luchadore blew a spray of blue mist into his face, allowing him to score the pinfall.6:54 - El Hijo Del Perra defeated Carl SvenssonAfter the match EHDP challenged Esix Cordero to a rematch at Aftermath which he accepted up on the big screen. Tyler Marx ~VS~ The Born-Again Kid
The Juniorweight Champion had his hands full tonight with the BAK. The Kid kept Marx off-balance with a mix of flurries of strikes and weardown holds. Marx starting getting frustrated and started making a comeback as a result. He caught BAK with a low blow from behind he was tied up in the corner with the ref. Tyler finished him off with the Tank Buster for the win.7:50 - Tyler Marx defeated Born-Again KidAfter the match Jack Francis came to the ring looking to exact some revenge after last week's sneak attack from Marx. Jack landed a number of strong blows before both men brawled their way through the crowd. Once they reached the parking lot Jack had Tyler up to deliver a piledriver on the roof of a car, but Samantha Swift and security rushed out to break things up. Swift was pissed off and announced Francis vs. Marx for the Juniorweight title at Windfall, in a Falls Count Anywhere match. "Grade A Superstar" Bradley Jameson ~VS~ Daniel Diamondeye
Daniel and Bradley fought back and forth and each landed their finisher, only to have the other man too close to the ropes. As they were getting ready to lay into each other once again, Jacob Anwar hit the ring with a chair and laid out both men.4:00 - Bradley Jameson & Daniel Diamondeye fought to a No Contest. After the match Samantha Swift came out from the back and announced that it will be Jameson vs. Anwar vs. Diamondeye at Aftermath in a Sudden Death 3-way. The winner would go on to face the Heavyweight Champion at Fear & Loathing. Hardcore Match Scrappy Joe ~VS~ Charon
This match was nothing more than a set-up by Frias and his cronies. Joe had little chance as Sad Boy, War Machine, Rob Frias and even Mini Frias hit the ring and swarmed over Joe. Charon finally hit him with the Knock for the pin.5:12 - Charon defeated Scrappy Joe in a Hardcore Match.

Sledgehammer Justice ~VS~ Scotty Long & Larry Jordan
Barry and Rich took a little time to get accustomed to the new team of Jordan and Long. But before long Barry sent Scotty into the corner hard and tagged in Burton. Rich hoisted up Scotty and hit the 1969'er to put and end to the match.4:47 - Sledgehammer Justice defeated Scotty Long & Larry JordanAfter the match SHJ got on the mic and challenged The Andersons to a Tornado Tag match at Aftermath for the titles. If Sledgehammer Justice can win either of those matches then they'll have their title match, otherwise the Andersons are going to take the night off at Aftermath. "The Reptile" Sarah Cole ~VS~ "Bloody" Arrianna Lyra
Sarah had the fans firmly in her corner (along with Jenn Wolf) as she fought the Coven's vampiric mistress. Arrianna and Sarah went back and forth with strong offensive flurries. The Reptile took control though and hit Venom, but Elisha Knight hopped the barricade and cracked Jenn in the back of the head with a chair. Sarah was sufficiently distracted to allow to Arrianna to score with the Dark Kiss and get the win.5:24 - Arrianna Lyra defeated Sarah Cole Ryan Bowdridge ~VS~ Kaelan Anderson
Ryan had his first opportunity to take on a member of the Vegas Horsemen facing Kaelan Anderson. Unfortunately both Scott Starnes and Seamus Anderson were at ringside. Throughout the match they consistently provided outside support for Kaelan by distracting the ref, tripping up Ryan, helping Kaelan to his feet outside the ring, and even outright attacking Bowdridge. Ryan tried to stay in the game, but after getting guillotined on the top rope by Starnes, he turned right in the big knee strike from Kaelan, giving the tag team champ a singles win.6:55 - Kaelan Anderson defeated Ryan Bowdridge
