August 19, 2006 As the show opens "Fully Alive" by Flyleaf comes on over the house speakers. Out comes the VCW Owner, Samantha Swift. The music cuts out and she gets on the mic to address the live crowd. "Welcome to our first show here at VCW. We have some great action for you tonight, let me run down tonight's card.."As she's about to announce the card, "Paint it Black" by The Rolling Stones plays and out comes "The Tempest" Jose Reyes. Reyes walks to the ring past Samantha Swift and grabs a mic. "Samantha, I have to tell you I'm getting a little wigged out cause I heard I don't have a match tonight. So I'm just saying you should strongly consider putting me in a match before I do something stupid."
"You want a match? Alright, first person out of the back who wants to face Jose Reyes, faces Jose Reyes."Reyes nods his head and throws his mic down, confident he can take care of any challenger. Then Slayer's "Raining Blood" hits and Jose's face drops visibly. Seven foot two, 367 pounds of a man from parts unknown,"The Scourge" Jeremy Tolliver walks to the ring. He quickly takes advantage of his much smaller opponent with a low blow and a stiff piledriver. Jeremy continues his punishment with an elbow to the back of Jose's head. The Scourge drops Reyes on the back of his head with a full nelson slam and it's apparent that he's not in Jeremy Tolliver's league. The size advantage was to great. Although it was purely academic at this point, Jeremy placed Jose on the top turnbuckle and the drilled him with a death valley driver from the second rope. He covered his now unconscious opponent for the three count and the victory. Samantha got back on the mic, "Here is your winner, 'The Scourge' Jeremy Tolliver!"Jeremy leaves the ring to "Raining Blood" and Samantha reads off tonights card. Jacob Black vs Sergei Sokol
Laura Lowell vs Pyretta Blaze
Kevin Cage vs "The Enforcer" Larry Jordan
"The Playboy" Esix Cordero vs "Wild Card" Scotty Long

Jacob Black ~VS~ Sergei Sokol
Jacob Black came to the ring displaying a new look. His beard was neatly trimmed and he's starting to grow his hair. A different outfit completed his change. His opponent, Sokol, the big man from Moscow took it to Jacob with power moves in the early going. A spike spine buster and a fall-away slam displays the Russian's power. Jacob refused to be beaten down so quickly and dropped his opponent with a double axe handle. As Sergei was regaining his footing Jacob nailed a swinging neck breaker to take him right back down. Jacob locks in a choke hold and forces Sokol to the mat. The ref finally called for the break, but Jacob begged off like he didn't do anything wrong. Sergei Sokol is too good of a wrestler to stay down for long though. Sokol came back with a flurry of offense, starting with a pump handle slam. As Jacob was laying on his stomach, Sergei grabbed him around the waist and delivered a devastating german suplex. Moscow's own Sergei Sokol hit a gut-wrench falling powerbomb to put away Jacob for the pinfall. "Limb From Limb" by Motorhead blasts through the speakers as Sokol celebrates his victory. Here is your winner, Sergei Sokol !

Pyretta Blaze ~VS~ Laura Lowell
The women of VCW took to the ring for this match-up. Laura immediately went to work on Blaze with an arm wringer. Pyretta tried to get some momentum by bouncing off the ropes but Laura performed an impressive leap frog over her... ...Laura then spun around and slammed her opponent down with a sambo suplex. Lowell pressed her advantage with a back breaker. Laura locked up Pyretta and hit a running power bomb into the pin. "Song 2" by Blur tore through the arena as Laura posed in the ring following her surprisingly quick victory. Here is your winner, Laura Lowell !

Kevin Cage ~VS~ "The Enforcer" Larry Jordan
Larry Jordan is Samantha Swift's bodyguard and one man goon squad. Kevin Cage is a former con who did time in Attica. This match would not be pretty. Kevin started off the action with a suplex on the big man. Jordan came right back lifting Cage off his feet with a two handed choke. Kevin came back again with a stiff clothesline, flooring the big man. After being thrown in the ropes, Larry delivered a nasty running DDT. Both men displayed their agility as the match continued. Jordan walked the top rope and Kevin nailed his taller opponent with a standing dropkick. Both men were well aware that the match only had a fifteen minute time-limit, and they were fast approaching it. Larry dropped Cage with the LJ Bomb, but was too close to the ropes. Kevin came back with Taste the Floor to score a two-count before Larry kicke dout. With under a minute remaining these two heavyweights didn't want to settle for a draw. Kevin came off the ropes but got scooped up for another LJ Bomb that ended the match as a victory for The Enforcer. Larry hopped to his feet following the match and did a throat slice towards the locker room. Snoop Dogg & Dre. Dre's "Nothin but a G Thang" come son through the speakers. Here is your winner, "The Enforcer" Larry Jordan !

"The Playboy" Esix Cordero ~VS~ "Wild Card" Scotty Long
The cocky Esix Cordero would look to make a great showing of himself as these two juniorweights met in the main event. Hedisplayed his technical skill early on with a back breaker and a textbook vertical suplex. Esix continued to dominate Scotty with a surfboard stretch. He snapped over The Wild Card with a hurricanrana but didn't go for the cover. Instead of going for the pin, Esix waited on Scotty to get to his feet. As soon as he did, The Playboy scooped him up and dropped him on his head with The Twister for the quick, decisive victory over Scotty Long. Esix soaks up the boos and cheers from the live audiance as "Swamped" by Lacuna Coil rings out in the arena. Here is your winner, Esix Cordero !
